When I first signed up for Pinterest, I thought my head was going to explode. I only pinned things that I knew for sure that I would make, and as soon as I pinned something, I would set about gathering whatever I would need to craft, bake, or DIY my way to success.
Pinterest was not just the visual bookmarking system it was originally designed to be, but rather my visual to-do list.
It didn’t help that I was pregnant at the time and had a serious case of nesting on the go.
Thankfully, I ended up being somewhat defeated by my own ambition, and the vastness of inspiration available to me on the site. I chilled out a little.
But these frames have been something I’ve wanted to make for a while. So, I went to my local Value Village, grabbed a few cool frames with weird images of creepy children and yellowed needlepoint, painted the glass with chalkboard paint, and the frames themselves with funky acrylic paint. Et voila!
